Symptoms Consider the following scenario. You install Windows Management Framework 3.0 on a computer (computer A) that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2. On a computer (computer B) that is running Windows Server 2012, you try to use Server Manager to retrieve performance data for computer A. In this scenario, Server Manager does not retrieve the performance data correctly. Cause This issue occurs because Performance Data Helper (PDH) functions cannot open log files that are generated for an impersonated thread. After a PDH function opens a log file, the f
